Instructions for Senior Week Rentals
Hello, my name is Colleen Klock. I have been successfully renting beach houses for Wildwood Senior Weeks and prom weekends for 19 years now. Glenwood is the last beach house I own and rent. The property is managed by me and it shows when you enjoy this beautifully decorated and clean beach house and have your damage/cleaning deposit returned.
Glenwood beach house is 1.5 blocks to the beach and boardwalk. This 4-bedroom, 2 bath, two car garage and one car driveway parking has a maximum occupancy of 10. 228 East Glenwood, Unit A, is a certified rental and maintains a Merchantile License with the City of Wildwood. This assures you that smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are all in working order and that the maximum occupancy matches the number of beds/sleeping areas.
Glenwood is not your typical rental in that it has amenities like beach chairs, boogie boards. beach umbrella, beach cart, coolers and drink cooler. The home is a 5 minute walk to the beach and boards.
I do require all renters to provide an emergency contact and sign the lease. That way all renters are responsible for the home and its contents. One renter, 18 years of age, must be the Head on the Lease. The Head on the Lease is the person that communicates with me (before, and if needed, during the senior week), gets the signed lease and all deposits to me and distributes the damage/cleaning refund back to the other renters. If you would like a lease, here is what I need: The Head of the Lease full name (as indicated on driver's license or student ID), postal address, email address, cell phone, date of birth and the full names of all the other renters. I will put together the lease leaving blanks in the postal/email address, emergency contact, cell etc. so each renter can neatly print this information when they sign the lease. I will then email the lease to the Head, who will have 7 days to get everyone to complete their information and sign the lease and return with first deposit. Any renter under 18 must have a parent sign for them. Then, if they turn 18 before senior week, I will have them re-sign the lease.
Please know I rent only to responsible high school senior groups. I treat my young adults as I do my older adults, with respect and a clean beautiful beach home. I do require a damage/cleaning deposit which is returned at check out provided the beach house is left clean and undamaged.
Questions feel free to text me, it is the best way to communicate with me, or call, Colleen 215-962-0141 I look forward to working with you and your group.
